1. The level of corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance of 316L material is higher than that of 304 material, so it is more inclined to be used in the installation of water supply pipes on the outer walls of houses in coastal areas and the installation of water supply pipes in chemical plants.

2. The content of some chemical components is different. The chemical composition of 304 thin-walled stainless steel tube is C (carbon)≤008, Ni (nickel) 8.0-10.5, Cr (chromium) 18.0-20.0, and the chemical composition of 316L thin-walled stainless steel tube C (carbon) ≤ 0.03, Ni (nickel) 10.0-14.0, Cr (chromium) 16.0-18.0, and the tensile strength will be different.

3. From the perspective of market conditions, the price of 316L thin-walled stainless steel pipe is generally about 50% more expensive than that of 304 thin-walled stainless steel pipe. Of course, this is only a reference and cannot be used as a direct basis. The specific price still depends on the price of the pipeline.
